MG.Social Stats for March & April, 2021

Hello everyone it’s MateoXRP with MG.Social.

We were so hard at work on the MG.Social mobile app release (available now for iOS and Android!) that we did not release our statistics for March. So today we are going to look at our statistics and analytics to measure our progress for both the months of March and April, 2021.

Let’s see how we did in the third and fourth months of 2021!

MG.Social Web Monetization Revenue:
For the month of March and April, 2021 there were 101 ILP payments generated to the MG.Social payment pointer for a total of 92.5313 XRP ($146.19 at $1.58/XRP).

This figure includes a Cinnamon boost of 72.883986 XRP. Removing the boost brings the total amount of revenue organically generated by Web Monetization to 19.647315 XRP ($31.04 at $1.58/XRP)

Xumm Tipping:
The total amount of Xumm tips that have been sent by MG.Social users on the platform at the time of writing is 991.90146 XRP, an increase of 160.86161 XRP since February. We will soon cross 1000 XRP in tips sent to creators with Xumm on MG.Social!

New Users:
We had 6 new Coil subscribers sign up for MG.Social in March and thanks to the release of our mobile app 48 new users in April, bringing our total number of user accounts to 214. We had more new user accounts created in April than any other month since MG.Social has launched!

Mobile Analytics:
So far we have had our app downloaded and installed on over 100 devices. We will work to provide more robust mobile analytics in the future.

iOS – 69 downloads from the Apple App store.

Android – 33 downloads from the Google Play store.

Web Analytics:
Our web analytics currently do not account for traffic generated from our mobile app, only from visits to the MG.Social web app.

Total visits for the month of March were at 628, down from 776 in February. Visits jumped back up to 917 for the month of April.

In March MG.Social received 2,010 pageviews and 1,325 unique pageviews.

For April we had a noticeable jump receiving 3,979 page views and 2,125 unique pageviews.

nn## Device Device Type:
Desktop to mobile usage remained steady at 65% to 35% respectively (not accounting for Mobile app traffic).

Overall Chrome was the most used browser on MG.Social for the period with 34%. Firefox came in at 25%. Firefox Mobile iOS came in at 11%, Chrome Mobile at 10%, Mobile Safari at 10% and others at 9%.

Operating Systems:
For the period of March and April Windows 10 was again the winner for operating system usage increasing from 39% to 41%. iOS 14.4 came in at 15%. Mac OS 11.2 came in at 10%. Mac OS 10.15 at 8% of MG.Social usage. Android 11 came in at 5%. All others came in at 22%.

Top 5 Countries:
Our top 5 countries for MG.Social usage for the month were:
1. United States: 1,029 visits.
2. United Kingdom: 124 visits.
3. Canada: 95 visits.
4. Denmark: 36 visits.
5. China: 34 visits.

Social Network Presence:
Twitter: 653 followers up from 477 (+176)
Cinnamon.Video: 94 followers, up from 88 (+6)
Coil: 57 followers, up from 48 (+9).
